Some details before we get started:
- Uploads are free for all and there is no minimum number of streams to start earning revenue.
- Payouts are currently available for those based in the UK and EEA countries.
- Once your bank account is connected, songs you publish will earn shares of subscriptions based on the proportion of time that listener spent on your music in that month. More details here.
- Patrontape is not-for-profit, and maintained by volunteers. We retain a 20% share of subscription payments to pay the cost of running the service (servers, storage etc).
- All of the rest goes to artists and their teams - for example, labels and artists can agree splits on songs, and collaborators can agree these splits across multiple user accounts.
